A great snack for nursing mums. Also perpect for a pre-exercise snack. Ingredients:
3/4 cup rolled oats |
1 c whole wheat flour |
8 tbsp coconut |
3/4 cup bran flakes |
4 tbsl sesame seeds |
1/2 cup sunflower seeds |
1/2 cup sliced almonds |
19 dried apricots, diced |
1/2 cup grated dark chocolate |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 cup apple juice |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl, using hands to work the juice in and ensure everything is mixed 2. Press the mixture into a shallow baking tin, such as a sponge roll tin 3. Bake at 165deg for 30 minutes (or 45 minutes for a crisper slice) 4. Cut into sqaures while still warm 5. Store in an airtight container. |
