We use this on nachos with the works or if using as a party dip i chop up a small tomato, some green onion and a few olives and throw them in. Ingredients:
3 t.. butter |
2 t. corn starch |
1 c. milk |
2 oz. cream cheese, cubed |
2 c. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded |
1/2 c. monterey jack, shredded |
3 tsp. emerils green sauce |
3 t. chopped pickled jalapenos, more or less depending what you like |
1/2 tsp. paprika |
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan over low-med heat, melt butter and stir in corn starch. 2. Pour in the milk, add cream cheese, and continue to stir until mixture is fully blended. 3. While stirring mix in cheddar and jack cheeses, paprika, and pepper sauce. 4. Continue to stir until cheese has melted and all ingredients are well blended. 5. Add jalapenos and stir. 6. Pour over tortilla chips. |
