This is a cheesy dip that is great over nachos. I put it in a fondue pot for a build your own nachos party. Big plus..it doesn't use Velveeta for those that aren't fans. It is also a great base for mac and cheese. Ingredients:
4 tablespoons butter |
1 large onion |
4 tablespoons flour |
2 cups milk |
1 lb cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Melt butter. 2. Saute onions until caramelized. 3. Add flour and cook for 2-3 minutes on medium heat. 4. Add milk and cheese and stir frequently until melted, about 15 minutes. |
