1 lb lentils |
2 cups onions, chopped |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
14 cups water |
1 lb ground beef |
1 tablespoon dill seed |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce |
6 ounces spaghetti, broken into 1 inch pieces |
Directions:
1. Simmer lentils, onion, and garlic in water over low heat 2 hours, stirring frequently. 2. Brown beef and add with spices and tomato sauce. Simmer an additional hour. 3. Add spaghetti, stir in well, and cook 12 - 15 minutes until noodles are done. |
