Ingredients:
2 lbs roast beef, left over |
1 large onion |
2 packages bovril powder |
1/2 cup water |
to taste mashed potatoes |
Directions:
1. Grind the roast beef. 2. Saute the onion and add Bovril, water, and 3. beef. 4. Cook for a short time. Put in a casserole. Top with mashed potatoes and put in 375 F oven for about 30 minutes. 5. Brown under broiler. 6. I must admit that I sometimes use a gravy mix instead of the Bovril and about 2 cups of gravy as a replacement is wonderful. |
