My Mother's Cucumber Sambal |

Not very authentic, but delicious! Ingredients:
1 english cucumber, peeled |
1/2 yellow onion |
salt |
white wine vinegar |
sugar |
white pepper |
Directions:
1. Grate the cucumber and onion. 2. Salt to taste and set aside for half an hour. 3. Squeeze out the juices and flavour with white wine vinegar, sugar and a lot of white pepper. 4. Chill for an hour or two. |
