My Mom's Slow-Cooked Shredded Beef (Oamc)

Yummy in burritos, chimichangas and anythings else you want to do with it.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs beef chuck roast
1 medium onion
1 cup water
1 (1 1/4 ounce) packet taco seasoning
4 ounces diced green chilies
Directions:
1. Put all in slow cooker and cook on low 8 hours or low 6 hours.
2. When done, take out roast, shred and put back in and cook for longer for better flavor.
