My Mom's Pumpkin Pie Filling

This is my Mom's recipe for pumpkin pie filling. I've been using it for years. I could give you the recipe for her Hot Water Pastry , too, but I have an aversion to baking and I buy ready made crusts. (not deep-dish)
Ingredients:
6 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 (28 ounce) can pumpkin
2 teaspoons ground ginger
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon mace
1 1/2 cups milk
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
2. Ladle into pie shells.
3. Bake 450F for 10 minutes.
4. Reduce heat to 325F and continue baking for 45 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
