My mom taught me how to make this sauce. It can be used on chicken or ribs. It's especially good made into ham or pork bar-b-que sandwiches! It is also a great marinade. This recipe is easy to make and can be stored in the refrigerator for weeks. Ingredients:
2 cups ketchup |
1 cup water |
1/4 cup vinegar |
4 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
2 teaspoons yellow mustard |
1 cup light brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Stir well to make sure the brown sugar and mustard is disolved. Bring to a boil, then simmer uncovered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. 2. Can be brushed on cooked chicken or ribs and grilled for ten minutes, or made into ham or pulled pork bar-b-que sandwiches using 3 lbs. of meat. 3. Enjoy! |
