This is my recipe. created by mixing 2 recipes for the perfect flavor and consistency Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef |
1/2 cup diced onion |
1/2 diced green bell pepper |
2 eggs |
1/3 cup ketchup (may add more if you like) |
1/2 teaspoon cider vinegar |
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
2 tablespoons ketchup |
4 tablespoons cider vinegar |
Directions:
1. Mix all together. form into loaf. bake 350 for 1 -11/2 hrs or til golden on top. brush with glaze throughout baking. 2. mix all glaze ingredients, brush onto loaf as it cooks. 3. NOTE: OMIT VINEGAR AND KETCHUP FROM RECIPE, ADD 2-3 TBS. OF GLAZE TO MEATLOAF MIXTURE. USE REMAINING FOR GLAZE. |
