My Homemade Toffee

This is So Very Yummy, Another Family Favorite...Easy to Do and Easy to EAT!
Ingredients:
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
1/4 cup water
4 hershey bars
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans ( i put mine in a ziplock and beat them up with the bottom of a heavy glass or a mallet)
Directions:
1. Combine First Three(3) Ingredients in A Heavy Skillet. Stirring Constantly, Cook Over High Heat Until Mixture Turns to A Tan Color and Begins to Smoke.
2. Quickly Pour Onto A Cookie Sheet and Cool Slightly. Break Chocolate Into Squares and Scatter Over Hot Toffee, Spreading Smoothly with A Knife While It Melts. Top with the Finely Chopped Pecans. Let Cool Completely, Break Into Chunks and Store in An Air Tight Container.
