My Grandmothers Noodle Kuggel |

this is my grandmother's recipe, and in my opinion, the best noodle kuggel around. great any time of year but especially during the colder months. enjoy! Ingredients:
12oz package wide egg noodle |
8 oz can crushed pineapple |
8 oz sour cream |
8 oz cottage cheese |
6 eggs beaten |
1 stick butter |
1/4 cup milk |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 tsp vanilla |
1/2 tsp cinnamon |
crushed cornflakes |
1 cup raisins |
1 tsp salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350, grease 9 x 13 baking dish. 2. In large pot, cook noodles in salted water until just tender. 3. Drain, return to pot and add stick of butter to melt. 4. After melted, add all ingredients, except for corn flakes, and mix. Pour mixture into greased dish, top with corn flakes. 5. If desired, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. 6. Bake for aprox. 60min - until slightly browned and set. |
