My Favorite Lemon Bars

Just the lemon bars we happen to like the best - rich shortbread crust and tart lemon on top. Nuthin else.
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup all purpose flour, divided
1 cup sugar, divided
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
3 tablespoons lemon juice
10xx sugar
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Combine 1 cup flour and 1/4 cup sugar; cut in butter until mixture resermbles coarse crumbs.
3. Press mixture onto bottom of an 8 inch square baking pan.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until lightly brown.
5. Blend eggs, lemon juice and remaining 1/4 cup flour and 3/4 cup sugar; pour over crust.
6. Bake 15 minutes more or until set.
7. Cool slightly and sprinkle with 10XX sugar.
8. Cool completely and cut into bars.
