This is my absolute favorite dessert in the summer when the fruit is all in season! Mmm...this makes me hungry just thinking about it! Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
1 cup butter |
4 tablespoons sugar |
16 ounces soft cream cheese |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2/3 cup sugar |
1 tablespoon grated orange rind |
strawberries (fruits of your choice) or raspberries (fruits of your choice) or pineapple, etc. (fruits of your choice) |
1/2 cup water |
1/2 cup lemon juice |
1 cup orange juice |
1/2 cup sugar |
4 tablespoons cornstarch |
Directions:
1. Crust directions:. 2. Blend crust ingredients. Spread in 10 x 15 pan and bake 10-12 minutes at 350°F. 3. Filling directions:. 4. Mix well and spread on cooled crust. Add fruit on top. 5. Glaze directions:. 6. Mix together glaze ingredients and bring to a boil for 1 minute. Cool some, then pour over fruit. Refrigerate. |
