My Favorite Dorito Casserole |

so quick and easy. It's simply one of my favorites. FYI if I use chicken, I usually buy the precooked rotisserie chicken and just shred it. Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger or 1 lb chicken |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup (i use the reduced fat) |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup (i use the reduced fat) |
1 (10 ounce) can rotel (original or sometimes i use the hotter one depends on my mood) |
0.5 (12 ounce) bag nacho cheese flavor doritos |
2 -3 green onions, chopped, i usually omit (optional) |
1 (8 ounce) bag shredded mexican cheese (use your own judgment, i like extra cheese) |
0.5 (12 ounce) bag nacho cheese flavor doritos, finely crushed |
Directions:
1. Brown and drain hamburger. 2. Combine all ingredients except the topping ingredients. You may apply the Doritos whole, but I prefer slightly crushed. 3. Put in a 9 x 13 pan or 2 quart casserole dish. 4. Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes. 5. Remove and top with finely crushed chips and cheese bake for an addition 10 minutes. |
