My Famous Chicken Pot Pie |

This is by far my family's favorite meal. My 6 year old would eat it everyday if I made it. My 2 year old son makes yummy noises through every bite. Ingredients:
2 whole chicken breasts |
2 cups frozen mixed vegetables |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of potato soup |
9 inches pie crusts |
1/2 yellow onion |
2 garlic cloves |
1 tablespoon butter |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
3 tablespoons sour cream |
1 teaspoon sage |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
1 teaspoon thyme |
Directions:
1. Directions. 2. Pre heat oven to 425 3. Dice garlic and onion and sautee in butter and oil over medium heat till onions are softened and translucent 4. Add the diced chicken to onions and garlic and cook 1 minute. 5. Add the can of soup and sour cream and stir. 6. Add veggies stir and turn off heat. 7. Stir in seasoning. 8. Spray pie plate with cooking spray and put bottom crust in, fill with chicken veggie mixture. 9. Top with other crust, pinch edges together and cut slits for steam to escape. 10. Bake 10 minutes then cover edges of crust with foil or pie ring. 11. Bake another 15 minutes or until crust slightly browned. 12. Remove from oven let cool for 15 minutes. |
