I wanted some thing really very easy so I would not spent to much in the kitchen and that would feed a lot of people. I take this dish to luncheons, and to fellowship so when I make it for these events I always double the recipe but for just a cook out. Read more . Serve this with grilled meats, and maybe have a salad, cole slaw if fish is served and homemade crusty French bread. Ingredients:
1 pkg. (8-oz.) cream cheese, softened |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1 cup chicken broth |
3 lb. red potatoes, thinly sliced |
1 pkg. smoked ham, chopped (luncheon meat) |
1 pkg. shredded cheddar cheese |
1 cup frozen peas |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350*F. 2. Spray 13x9 baking dish with cooking spray. 3. Mix cream cheese, sour cream and chicken broth in large bowl until well blended. 4. Add potatoes, ham, peas and 1-3/4 cups of the cheese, stir gently to coat all ingredients. 5. Spoon into prepared baking dish. 6. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup cheese. 7. Bake 1 hour or until heated through and potatoes are tender. 8. *You can use smoked turkey instead of the ham. 9. ** You can use mixed vegetables instead of peas. |
