This is my- in family famous pumpkin pie it was a fluke when i was 12 and it turned out great! please rate on how much you like it!
Ingredients:
15 ounces pumpkin puree, preferably fresly pureed
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
2 large eggs
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon nutmeg or 1 teaspoon allspice
Directions:
1. mix the sugar and spices together in a small bowl.
2. whisk eggs in a large bowl, then add the pumpkin.
3. add the sugar to the pumpkin/egg mixture.
4. slowly add the evp. milk to the mixture
5. pre-heat oven to 425.
6. for the crust, add the ingredients in order of which i gave them to you.
7. then pat into 9 inches pie shell, add the filling and bake for 25 minutes.
8. DO NOT TAKE THE PIE OUT, but change the temperature to 350 for 55 minutes.
9. take out serve with vannilla ice cream or cool for 2 hours and serve with whipped cream and a sprig of mint for color.
