An old recipe that has been buried for a long time. I hope you like it / I hope I still like it. If you don't have a banana on hand you can use a tbsp of brown sugar. Ingredients:
250 g extra lean ground beef |
1 small onion, chopped |
1 tablespoon canola oil |
2 teaspoons curry powder |
1/2 teaspoon beef bouillon powder |
1 1/2 teaspoons kitchen bouquet |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1 medium banana (optional) |
1/4 cup water |
Directions:
1. Saute onions in cooking oil over medium heat. 2. Brown beef; add bouillion and sauce and water; simmer for 15 minutes. 3. Let stand until 20 min prior to serving. 4. Add gravy flavouring and curry powder; simmer very low for 10 minutes (add more water as needed). 5. Add banana (if using) and simmer until banana disappears. |
