People will literally fight over these. Don't believe me? Try making 'em and you'll see. Everybody loves my balls!!
Ingredients:
1 box betty crocker (or whatever) chocolate fudge brownie mix
1-2 eggs (depending on what the box asks for)
1 tbspn vanilla extract
1/2 cup white granulated or confectioner's sugar
1/2 cup dark or light brown sugar
replace the amount of oil on the box for softened, unsalted butter. if it's 1/2 cup, that's 1 whole stick.
replace the amount of water asked for whole milk. (you may need a bit less than what is asked for. )
1 cup of hershey's chocolate syrup
any of the following; walnuts, coconut, sprinkles, oreo cookies, graham crackers, etc. for topping.
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, pour brownie mix, sugars and vanilla.
2. Beat softened butter into the mix until blended and crumbly.
3. Add egg, beat until blended, then enough milk (litle by little) to make it fudgy, then add the chocolate syrup. (This will make the batter fail to fully harden, which you want!)
4. Blend well.
5. Pour into a large pan and bake at 350 for about 35-40 minutes, or until edges are pretty much done but the center will still be goupy.
6. Try tilting the pan a bit to move the center around to the edges, and bake a few more minutes if you have to.
7. Remove the pan from oven and let cool a bit, but not completely.
8. Line a tupperware with wax paper.
9. With a tablespoon, scrape up brownie mixture and mash the done parts with the goupy parts. Be careful, it'll still be hot!
10. Roll 1 inch balls with your hands and place into the lined tupperware. Use only malleable brownie; if it's too chewy or hard, eat it. (Don't discard it, are you nuts? That's tasty brownie!)
11. Cover and refridgerate overnight, or at least 5-6 hours.
12. The next day, or when properly chilled, the balls will be ready to coat. Just chop up your favorite topping, roll them around and press the topping into the ball. When they're done, keep them refridgerated until ready to eat. Your guests will be fighting over them too, and you'll be screaming, Bitch, I made them- hand them over!! lol
