A tasty mayonnaise. Great in potato salads or on burgers Ingredients:
1 egg |
1 teaspoon prepared mustard |
1 lemon |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground |
1 1/4 cups salad oil |
1/2 cup sour cream |
2 tablespoons dijon mustard |
1 tablespoon brandy or 1 tablespoon cognac |
3 green onions, finely chopped |
Directions:
1. Juice lemon. 2. Combine egg, mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and 1/4 cup oil in a blender. 3. While the machine is still running, slowly add remaining oil. 4. Blend in remaining ingredients. |
