Ingredients:
2 bunches (about 4 pounds) mustard greens, cleaned |
4 medium turnips, peeled and quartered |
1 medium onion, chopped |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Place mustard greens and remaining ingredients in a large Dutch oven; add water to cover. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 2 hours or until mustard greens are tender. |
