Simple yet good. Ingredients:
1 lb green beans, washed and trimmed |
1 -2 tablespoon unsalted butter or 1 -2 tablespoon margarine |
1 tablespoon dijon mustard, plus |
1 teaspoon dijon mustard |
1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar (optional) |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Steam green beans for 6-8 minutes, or until tender. 2. Melt butter in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium heat. Stir in mustard, salt , sugar (if using) and pepper. Add cooked green beans to skillet and toss to coat. |
