A very easy and tasty way to cook mussels! Ingredients:
2 lbs mussels |
1 cup dry white wine |
1/2 cup finely chopped celery |
2 green onions, chopped |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 pinch salt |
1/4 cup fresh parsley |
1/4 cup chives |
Directions:
1. Scrub mussels and cut off beards. 2. Discard any that do not close when tapped. 3. Bring wine, celery, onions, salt and pepper to a boil. 4. Add mussels. 5. Cover and bring just to boil. 6. Discard any that do not open. 7. Sprinkle with parsley and chives. 8. Transfer to bowl and pour liquid into bowl for dipping. |
