Mussels In Garlic And Sweet Spicy Sauce |

This dish is simple and easy to cook. Always present in our buffet table in every ocassion. Ingredients:
6 cloves garlic, minced |
1 small onion, minced |
1/2 tsp fresh ginger, minced |
1 stick butter |
3 lbs. half shelled mussels, cleaned and drained |
1/2 tsp chili paste |
1/2 cup sweet chili sauce (dipping sauce) |
1 tbsp chopped flat leaf parsley |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a saute pan. 2. Add garlic until light brown. 3. Add onion, ginger, chili paste and sweet chili sauce. Cook for 1 minute. Add salt and pepper to taste 4. Add mussels. Mix gently to make sure each mussels is covered with butter and garlick mixture. 5. Cover and cook for 5 minutes stirring occasionally to make sure the mussels cooked evenly. 6. Add parsley before turning off the heat. 7. Serve warm alone or over cooked noodles or rice. 8. Enjoy! |
