Healthy, easy to make, breakfast. I use milk instead of water and I like to add a small container of yogurt before eating. Good shot of fiber and calcium!
Ingredients:
2 cups oats
3/4 cup oat bran
3/4 cup sliced almonds
2 tablespoons wheat germ
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together in a plastic container or resealable bag. Mix.
2. Combine 1/3 cup of the mixture with equal amount of milk or water.
3. Refridgerate overnight.
4. In the morning, combine with yogurt and eat cold or microwave for a hot breakfast.
5. Can store the rest of the mix in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
