Mushrooms on Rice

A must have recipe for all mushroom lovers. It makes a nice main or side dish. Very simple and delicious.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter
1 onion, chopped
2 teaspoons beef bouillon
1 cup water
1 1/2 tablespoons flour
8 ounces sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup walnuts (optional)
cooked rice
Directions:
1. Saute onion in butter until browned.
2. Dissolve bouillon in water, set aside.
3. Add flour to onions slowly, stirring constantly.
4. Pour in bouillon and water, still stirring.
5. Add sliced mushrooms and cover and simmer on low until mushrooms reach desired tenderness.
6. Stir occasionally.
7. Remove cover, add walnuts, and cook on medium high to thicken slightly.
8. Serve over rice.
