Mushrooms in Sour Cream Sauce |

Clipped out of a newspaper years ago. Excellent side dish with lots of flavor. Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter |
1 lb mushroom, sliced |
1 small onion, chopped |
1/2 cup white wine |
3 teaspoons dried parsley (or 1/4 cup fresh) |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1 tablespoon flour |
8 ounces sour cream |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium high heat. 2. Add onions, mushrooms, and garlic. Saute for 5 minutes. 3. Add wine, salt, and pepper. Cook stirring often for 4-5 minutes, or until wine is reduced by half. 4. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. 5. Add sour cream and parsley, stir well. 6. Heat through and serve. |
