This is an all time family favorite of ours. whenever I've made it, I've gotten rave reviews. Hope you enjoy it too. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1 lb fresh mushrooms |
1/2 cup onion |
1/2 cup carrot |
1 minced garlic clove |
6 cups chicken broth |
1 (6 ounce) package uncle bens wild rice |
1/2 cup white wine |
2 tablespoons flour |
3 tablespoons water |
1 cup whipping cream |
Directions:
1. Melt butter and sautee mushrooms, onion, carrots, and garlic. cook until tender. 2. in large kettle put broth, veggies, rice, and seasoning packet. 3. simmer 1 hour. 4. stir in wine. 5. blend water and flour and stir into soup. 6. heat to boiling. 7. stir in cream. 8. serve and enjoy! |
