1/2 medium onion, minced |
3 tablespoons butter or margarine |
3 tablespoons flour |
1 cup chicken broth |
1/2 cup whipping cream |
1 (6-ounce) jar sliced mushrooms, drained |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
dash of pepper |
Directions:
1. Sauté onion in butter in a small saucepan over low heat until tender. Add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add broth and whipping cream; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Stir in remaining ingredients. |
