Mushroom Rice for a Crowd |

An old time recipe from my sister in law, this makes a large roaster full. Add your own herbs or seasonings if you like. Ingredients:
10 cups white rice |
1 1/2 cups oil |
5 (1 1/4 ounce) packages dry onion soup mix |
10 tablespoons soy sauce |
5 (10 ounce) cans mushroom stems and pieces |
15 cups boiling water |
Directions:
1. Add ingredients to a large roaster and seal tightly with aluminum foil and the roaster cover. 2. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, no peeking. |
