This flavorful rice side dish is a great accompaniment to any meat dish.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups uncooked rice
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, cut in pieces (or less)
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, undrained
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can french onion soup
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can beef broth
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients.
2. Place in buttered 2 qt.
3. casserole dish.
4. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour (or until all liquid is absorbed).
5. Stir before serving.
