From today's Weekend magazine. Preparation time does not include the refrigeration time. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon butter |
1/2 onion, finely chopped |
1 cup mushroom, thinly sliced (lengthwise) |
salt |
pepper |
1 cup yogurt, beaten till smooth |
1 tablespoon mint leaf, washed and finely chopped |
Directions:
1. Heat butter in a pan. 2. Add the chopped onions and sliced mushrooms. 3. Saute until dark brown in colour. 4. Remove on an absorbent paper. 5. Put yogurt in a bowl. 6. Add salt and pepper to the yogurt. 7. Add mushrooms and onion mixture. 8. Mix well. 9. Refrigerate until ready to serve. 10. Garnish with mint leaves before serving. 11. Serve chilled with a spicy curry and long grain Basmati rice. |
