A delcious alternative to meat pates. Season as you wish besides the salt and pepper. i often add some garlic Ingredients:
3 tbs peanut or olive oil |
1 1/2 lb white mushrooms, finely chopped |
1/2 cup finely chopped onion |
1 hard boiled egg |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Saute the onions and mushrooms in the oil until tender and soft; about 10 minutes 2. Stir in the finely chopped cooked egg. 3. Salt and pepper to taste. 4. Use as a sandwhich spread or a pate. 5. Serve warm or chilled |
