Ingredients:
4 tablespoon(s) butter |
8 ounce(s) butter |
1 dash(es) cayenne |
8 ounce(s) cream cheese |
0.25 teaspoon(s) dried thyme |
1 egg yolk |
1 teaspoon(s) flour |
2 cup(s) flour |
2 teaspoon(s) milk |
2 cup(s) mushrooms, diced |
1 cup(s) onion, chopped |
0.5 teaspoon(s) salt |
0.5 teaspoon(s) sat |
Directions:
1. Saute onion in 4 T butter for 3 min 2. Add mushroom, saute another 5 minutes, until nicely carmelized 3. Add flour, saute another minute 4. Add thyme, salt and cayenne 5. Refrigerate until cooled 6. Beat butter and cream cheese until smooth 7. Add flour and work into smooth dough 8. Roll out on floured board until 1/8 inch thick 9. Cut in circles 10. Put 1 tsp filling on each round 11. Fold into half circles 12. Pinch with fingers and crimp with fork 13. Brush with egg wash made with egg yellow and milk 14. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-14 minutes until golden brown |
