creamy mushroom chicken Ingredients:
4 chicken breast halves (uncooked) or 8 chicken tenders (uncooked) |
1 (8 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
3/4 cup nonfat milk |
1 cup low-fat cheddar cheese |
1/4 cup flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1 teaspoon garlic |
Directions:
1. Dip chicken in melted butter and dredge in flour. 2. Lay in 9x13 baking pan. 3. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and other seasonings (we like garlic powder). 4. In a separate bowl, mix one can of cream of mushroom soup with 3/4 C nonfat milk and 1/2 cup of shredded cheese. 5. Pour mixture over chicken, making sure to completely cover each piece. Top with remaining cheese. 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. |
