A casserole that's easy to make. Ingredients:
1 lb. mushrooms |
1 oz. butter |
1 large onion, chopped |
1 c. peas |
salt and pepper |
4 c. cooked brown rice |
Directions:
1. wipe and slice mushrooms. 2. Heat butter in a large frying pan, 3. add onions and saute until golden,remove from heat. 4. Add mushrooms and peas, mix together thoroughly, 5. season to taste with salt and pepper. 6. In a greased ovenproof casserole, alternate layers 7. of rice and mixed vegetables. 8. Place in a hot oven and cook for 20-30 min. 9. or until the vegetables are tender. |
