a quick fixing meal, with tasty mushroom sauce, it goes good with toasted french, or italian bread. Ingredients:
5 (4 ounce) beef tenderloin steaks (1 1/2 inches thick) |
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley |
1 cup heavy whipping cream |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon flour |
6 tablespoons butter, divided |
3/4 lb pre-sliced fresh mushrooms |
1 tablespoon garlic powder |
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, saute mushrooms in 3 tablespoons of butter, for 6 minutes, or till tender. 2. Stir in flour, pepper, garlic powder, and salt until well blended. 3. Gradually add the cream , bring to a light boil. 4. Cook & stir 2 minutes, until thickened. 5. Stir in parsley, and set aside. 6. In another large skillet, heat remaining butter over medium heat. 7. Cook steak for 6 minutes, or until meat reaches desired tenderness. 8. Serve with mushroom sauce. |
