A quick mushroom and pepper sauté is a great heart-healthy side dish for chicken, beef or pork. Grab a skillet and these five simple ingredients and you'll be all set. Ingredients:
1 large red bell pepper |
cooking spray |
1 (8-ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms |
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary |
1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce |
Directions:
1. Slice bell pepper into strips. Coat a nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium-high heat until hot. Add bell pepper, mushrooms, rosemary, and soy sauce. Cover and cook 4 minutes. Stir well; cover and cook 3 minutes or until crisp-tender. |
