from lois lind a anadama type roll made with cornmeal and flour and yeast i think i would cutthis down some it will make alot like in 4ths lol the recipe calls for 1 package of yeast but i would put in at least 2 and the amount of flour was not specified just enough flour to make a soft dough so im guessing Ingredients:
1 cup cornmeal |
4 cups boiling water |
1 cup brown sugar |
3 teaspoons salt |
1 1/4 ounces yeast |
7 cups flour |
Directions:
1. mix boiling water and corn meal 2. let cool. 3. add sugar 4. and salt 5. and enough flour to make a batter 6. add yeast 7. beat 5 minutes 8. add more flour to make a soft dough 9. let rise 1 /12 hours i would let rise until at least double 10. make into rolls let rise again until double 11. bake 374 12. 20 -25 minutes. |
