I like trying recipes with weird names. This was delicious and full of chocolate Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
2 cups flour |
2 eggs |
1/4 cup buttermilk |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 cup butter, softened |
1 cup water |
5 tablespoons cocoa |
frosting |
1/2 cup butter |
5 tablespoons cocoa |
6 tablespoons whipping cream |
1 box powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. In a large bowl mix sugar and flour. 3. In a saucepan mix butter, water and cocoa; heat until ingredients are blended and add to the dry ingredients. 4. Add buttermilk, baking soda aned eggs; mix well-the batter will be wet but not stiff. 5. Pour into a greased and floured 9X14 pan and bake for 25-30 minutes-it will be just slightly baked. 6. In a saucepan mix butter, cocoa and whipping cream. 7. Heat, stirring until blended. 8. Add powdered sugar. 9. Pour frosting over hot cake. 10. Let cool and serve. |
