Super simple
Ingredients:
1 (10 -12 lb) whole turkey
salt
pepper
Directions:
1. Discard bag of gizzards from inside cavity and rise the cavity of the turkey with cold water.
2. Pat dry.
3. Salt & pepper the bird all over.
4. Roast until golden brown, about 2 hours.
5. Cover the breast loosely with foil when golden brown.
6. Cook until an instant read thermometer reads 165 degrees F in the thigh of turkey.
7. The thigh takes about 30 more minutes than the rest of the bird.
8. Transfer to a cutting board or serving platter to rest for 15 minutes before carving.
