A real kid pleaser Ingredients:
1 tablespoon butter |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1 1/2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni |
1 (19 ounce) can tomatoes |
1 cup water |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
buttered breadcrumbs (optional) |
Directions:
1. Heat butter, saute onions until transparent. 2. Place in 2 quart casserole. 3. Add remaining ingredients. 4. Stir well, breaking the tomatoes into small pieces. 5. Bake at 350F for 65 mins or til macaroni is tender. 6. Top with buttered crumbs during last 10 mins of baking if desired. 7. Excellent meal with sausages and a salad. |
