Mum Teale's Casserole

This is a super easy casserole to make, that even my kids love! It's got a beautiful thick, rich gravy that is yum served with mashed potato.
Ingredients:
500 g beef steaks, cubed
2 tablespoons plain flour
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon mixed spice
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 cups water
1 teaspoon gravox (gravy powder)
1 brown onion, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to moderate (180 degrees).
2. In a casserole dish, with a lid, combine all ingredients except for the meat and vegies.
3. Stir together, add meat and vegies.
4. Bake for 2 hours, until meat is cooked and tender. Let sit for 10 minutes. Serve with mashed potato and peas.
