Ingredients:
3/4 cup oat bran
1/2 cup whole-wheat flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 large egg
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Directions:
1. Mix oat bran, whole-wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Mix buttermilk, egg and vegetable oil in another bowl; fold into flour mixture. Drop batter by 1/4 cupfuls on a hot griddle; cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip and cook 1 minute longer.
