Part wheat bread with a choice of grains added Ingredients:
1 egg |
water (enough so that, combined with egg, amounts to 1 cup) |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
2 tablespoons white sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1 cup whole wheat flour |
2 cups bread flour |
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast |
2 tablespoons walnuts |
2 tablespoons sunflower seeds (or 1/4 cup of any mix of nuts grains, oats, cracked wheat, etc.) |
Directions:
1. All ingredients should be at room temperature. 2. Place all ingredients except for nuts/grains in bread machine the order shown. Add nuts/grains before the second kneeding (some bread machines beep when it is okay to open the lid to add ingredients - mine does this at 2:25). |
