Like an English muffin with nooks and crannies, this bread is excellent for butter, jams, or other spreads. Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups bread flour |
1 cup warm water (100° to 110°) |
1/2 cup low-fat buttermilk |
1/4 cup yellow cornmeal |
1/4 cup regular oats |
1/4 cup wheat bran |
1/4 cup packed brown sugar |
2 tablespoons honey |
2 1/2 teaspoons bread-machine yeast |
2 teaspoons salt |
Directions:
1. Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level with a knife. Follow manufacturer's instructions for placing flour and the remaining ingredients into bread pan, and select the bake cycle; start the bread machine. |
