I found this recipe several years ago in Cooking Light Magazine. I make it weekly. I have subsituted one cup of the flour for wheat flour successfully. This bread makes excellent toast. Ingredients:
1 cup water, slightly warm |
1/2 cup buttermilk |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
2 tablespoons honey |
3 1/2 cups bread flour |
1/4 cup cornmeal |
1/4 cup old fashioned oats |
1/4 cup wheat bran |
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed |
2 teaspoons salt |
2 1/4 teaspoons yeast |
Directions:
1. Load bread machine according to manufacturer's directions. Use wheat cycle. |
