Ingredients:
2 cups water |
6 cardamom pods |
3 1/4-inch-thick rounds of peeled fresh ginger |
2 whole cloves |
3 tablespoons honey |
3 cups grapefruit juice |
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, combine the first five ingredients. Stirring as it warms to dissolve the honey, bring the water to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Strain mixture through a fine sieve into another saucepan. Stir in the grapefruit juice and reheat slowly. Serve warm in mugs. |
