A truely Native American Recipe that our family has enjoyed for many years. Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
4 teaspoons baking soda |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
2 eggs |
1 cup milk |
1/3 cup liquid shortening or 1/3 cup oil |
1/2 cup dried mulberries |
nuts, if desired |
Directions:
1. Beat Eggs milk and liquid shortening. In a Medium sized bowl combined all dry ingredients. Come Egg mixture with dry ingredients. Add nuts if desired. 2. Bake at 425 degrees F. for 20-25 minutes. |
